Royal George 1714 1:48

Amazing, truly amazing that this build is happening and with such results. Ken
Thank you very much Ken, that requires a lot of perseverance, but for me it's not the quick construction that counts, but the construction itself with the research into the model. There will be many more interesting photos to come.

Due to the fact, that I am also located in Vienna, I know that these photos are already some days old...... in the meantime we have ugly cold and rainy weather
The "monster" is getting slim (by sanding)
I am looking forward to see your lady the next time in real

Hello
A beautiful model is created from scratch, every frame you draw is impressive. I will be happy to watch further progress. Regards, Mirek

So the summer is over, and after 10 years the frames are getting slimmer and the strack better. Of course the finishing touches of 380 grit paper for the perfect finish are still missing, but progress is being made.IMG_5887.jpegIMG_5886.jpegIMG_5884.jpeg

Schöne Arbeit
- hope to see the original in one of our next meetings in Vienna

A nice hello to everyone, as I haven't posted anything for a while, here are a few pictures of the construction progress of the Royal George 1715. At the moment I'm busy sanding the ends of the floors and the futtocks. My goal is to have the underwater frames finished by the beginning of summer, and thus to finish the frames in the underwater hull area. Best wishes StefanCFCEB972-E989-4AF6-9E92-3FE8FA8DF326.jpeg74831D7D-2710-4A08-A333-B8513F84B661.jpegIMG_6884.jpegIMG_6881.jpeg01D98A9F-D9EF-465C-8577-48DBE143D686.jpeg
