Not me!!! Hope there's an extinguisher near by!!! Assuming this idea was supposed to be serious, practically speaking there would have to be a LOT of irons made as the shape of the ports varied with the location. The below shows the shapes of just three ports on Diana (38) 1794 as an example. Add this to the overall sizes being different at every deck level on larger ships, there would need to be dozens of different irons for a first rate. Lots of chances to make a bonfire.Anyone fancy burning in your gun ports with a red hot iron?!......
