Hi there Yes just used standard 5 ply and acrylic clear sheet to keep the weight down as it is wall hung. Electric was layer down to run the ships I set up with LED's

Hi there had models all over the place getting dust and damage. Honest it's not rocket science give it a go all I advise is you use acrylic it's cheaper and much lighter. Your box frame design is a bit like a slotted picture frame and you lift up the acrylic and drop it into the lower horizontal slot Acrylic is quite flexible so you are able to bend into a slight curve as well.I'm so jealous of that display case.
