It looks terrible in macro photography![]()
True story. This is quality modelling. Nice Sasha as always. Cheers GrantNo, it doesn’t!![]()
Yes VojtasS, the deck will be covered with tung oil, but later, when I install all the deck elements on itI guess one would have to stick the nose directly under carriage to see that, but it only shows how good your camera is. Are you going to apply something to deck to give it more darker look?
Thanks Gunther. All the carronades (18 pieces) took me 20 days (2 hours in the evenings) for a total of 40 hours. I did not count the number of parts, but I think you can estimate them in the photo.Hello Sascha,
that's amazing.
It looks great. I thought you'd set the bar high again. Tell me, how long did it take you to make the caronades? So many parts?
Cheers Günther![]()
Thanks Allan. The grilles are not from a kit, they are homemade. Combs and slats on topYour VERY nice build continues. As mentioned before your copper plating is extremely well done. The gratings are very well built and realistic looking. Did you make these on your own or are they from the kit?
Allan
That is what I thought as they are so well done. Nice work! The grilles are not from a kit, they are homemade.
Good afternoon Sasha. Top quality modelling as always. Curls or no curls that is the question…I bring no help as I am undecided. Cheers GrantMade a stand for the model from wenge wood. There is an opinion that it is not harmonious with the model, allegedly the curls on the edges are unnecessary
