HMY Fubbs stern section from Weaselworks

If you get bored with the frames take a break and build the keel or another part of the model. The parts do not have to be made in any particular order, but the instructions for the assembly should be used for the best results.

Actually, Mike, I’m not too bored at the moment. I’m building another ship simultaneously—a C-2 cargo ship. While the glue is drying on one, I’m working on the other. Or I’m practicing dry fiberglass.

Good morning Vic. I see you are getting into the swing of making frames…..looking good. Yep plenty sanding coming up but I think that goes with the territory. Cheers Grant
Thanks, Grant, for looking in. You're usually so encouraging, although telling me of plenty of sanding coming up might not be considered so. I'm surprised you have time to look in between motorcycling, golf, family, work, and model building. We have an advertisement on TV over here of the "energizer bunny." It's about the Energizer battery the keeps going and going and going... It reminds me of you.

It’s starting to look like the Tower of Babel.

I remember how happy I was when I arrived to your stage. Later on I screwed the built very bad. To the point that I put all again in a box and was going to ship it back to Mike. The frustration passed, guys in the forum and Mike convinced me to unglue that section and redo it. You probably have already seen those postings on my thread.

Bottom line.... it's looking great !!!!!! It will finish been a fantastic beautiful ship built.

Cheers
Daniel

Thanks, Daniel. I almost freaked out when I first read your thread. I’m glad I kept reading. I was a bit worried on mine until I started looking at others’ builds. My lines were a little off. And I was worried that the bottoms were getting longer and then shorter. We will see how it all plays out.
