I went through all Amazon and did not find any display case 48" wide. All are much smaller.

I wonder if it would work if you could angle the ship, that would reduce the width. Just look on Anazon for display cases with lights. They have a bunch listed. You may find one that would work.I went through all Amazon and did not find any display case 48" wide. All are much smaller.

I’ll keep looking, you might have to build your own. There are some YouTube tutorials that show you how. That’s the conclusion I’ve come to for my larger ships.Ship is 45" long. No way my case can be any shorter than 48" long.

You might go to:

Look on the bottom line for “Display and lighting”. Click on it.
Good recommendations for display cases and lighting from what appears to be a professional model building company.

Me too! Too many floating fortresses being modeled (my opinion).Hello again BugDoc , the Flying Fish was a two year project for me as
my old body is slowing down, fortunately I turned ninety three
Dec.21 st, yesterday . Another Brigantine I hope to start in the coming
year if all goes well . I would like to see more photos of other clipper ships, barques, brigantines et cetera being made by Forum members
and also comments about their builds if any . These ships represent
a period during the great age of sail which seems to be lacking a
bit by present modelers.
