Hello Brother,
Once again you have simply amazed me on your ability to think of multiple ways to solve certain aspects of your build. But as an admirer of your talent, I must point one thing out if I may. The edge of your canopy does not go through all the way and it makes it look like it is one board on top instead of multiple boards.

@ziled68 I think it is just a bad disposition on the photo you are referencing to. On post #118 Aleksandr clearly shows the caulking imitations goes alone the hights of the planks. It is the first layer of planking who makes this appear as a single board.

Hello Jim,
Yes, I agree with you in that the second set of planks, superimposed on the first set make it seem that way. If you look at the following photo you will see why I brought it to Aleksandr's attention. Once again, I have a lot of respect for his ability to make many, many details on his boeier while instructing/teaching us different methods. For that, I am humbled that he would share his knowledge with us.

With great respect, Raymond

@ziled68 Hi Raymond, I can sign double what you said about Aleksandrs ability and craftsmanship. However, your picture doesn't convince me as it has an adjacent plank to hide the first layer (if one exists, to begin with), hence, the work is not completed yet. Let's wait for Aleksandrs comments...

My greetings Raymond and Jim.
Raymond, you are right, I agree with your notice. There are several reasons why I made this choice. My excuse is that having studied different kinds of
caulking showed that this one existed as well. Our Dutch colleagues could tell more about it. If during the construction process you decide to make a more authentic model, i'll tell you how it could be done easily.

Brother Kortes,
I greatly appreciate the boeier construction education that you are so kindly sharing with us. When you started this this topic for this little boat, I knew nothing about boeiers and now that my eyes have been opened to the uniqueness of this little boat I am a huge fan. I truly appreciate the lessons that you are sharing with us and for at least helping me get a better understanding of these phenomenal little boats by answering my questions. I look forward to your next post.

Raymond
