More for the future I am guessing. It is usually a good idea to look at contemporary plans to compare to kit plans if this kind of detail is important to the builder. Most, if not all kits of English ships from the late 18th and 19th centuries are based on contemporary plans so they are usually easy to find. An exception is Victory, I have never seen contemporary plans of her from the time of her massive rebuild in 1803 but am guessing photos of her modern day version in Portsmouth are a great guide when in doubt.I see what you mean but I was following the plans as best I could not sure how to rectify this
That's quite a set up! Brand new paired benches and a lounge chair to contemplate your build! I'm a bit jealous to see a dedicated work room all to your own!Still waiting on stuff from Caldercraft, I was impressed with my bench so much I decided to get another, fits well I think
