I was thinking of the san felipe or royal caroline or the hms bountyHi Hendrik,
Curious what your next ship will be.

Thanks very much for the info and kind words.Great work! For a first ship, it is very impressive.
I am currently on my second ship. Be warned: they are addictive!
I think this is because they are very complex but also very beautiful. And very very rewarding. About a year ago I thought the ropes were a complete messNow I see the logic and the beauty in equal parts.
The down side is that I spend more time reading books about the ships than actually building the ships! But this will change as I learn more. And, as a theoretical physicist, I appreciate the understanding even if my skills ar enot uip to executing what I know shoul dbe done
Again- congratulations. Great work.
As for your next project - my advice is to pick a ship for which you can get one of the Anatomy of the Ship series. Very valuable for understanding the ship. There is one for The Bounty (which is almost the same as the Endeavour, which was my first ship.)

Thank you!nice job!

Thanks DennisGreat job Hendrik, onward and upward as they say.

Thanks very muchLovely model, excellent craftsmanship!!
