HMS Enterprise 1774 POF 1:48.

Very nice detail at such a small scale!
Thank you Daniel. I am having a good time making these cannon and pumps.
A nice nailing pattern on the pump, Grant.
And some nice ‘almost finished’ guns …… waiting for the rigging. ;)
Regards, Peter
Good afternoon Peter. Cannon rigging…..getting depressed just thinking about itSpeechless
This is just what I was thinking, Grant. Rigging guns Cautious...
….and I need two of you reminding me… ROTF
Cheers Grant

Man, you guys never learn. After 3 cannons on each side (one as a starter, the second as refinement and the third as the final product), you have proven that you can build and rig a cannon. No need to repeat the exercise 30 times more - we believe you! ROTF

And to rub it in. Guess how many cannons De Zwane will have ... yep ... six! :)

For that Heinrich you owe me a few beers in Melkboss! ROTF .

Good morning. I’m going to have to increase my SOS time as there is plenty activity here at the moment- very cool.

We are baby sitting my “grand puppy” for a while while Ashtyn and Micheal are on holiday in Mozambique.

Not much to show you guys - more cannon trunnions and caps and tree nailing continues now I have my 0.5mm drill bits.

As always nothing is complete and all dry fitted. I just need to show you guys work is continuing.

Hi Grant
It looks like the dog loves his grand pa

Good morning Gentlemen. Once again I don’t have anything to really show and Ricochet rabbit is still jumping around with extra charged Duracell batteries ROTF .

Some more ugly for you guys - hopefully it will all come together at some point.

I did my fake waterway and spriketling plank on the SB side and more treenails:

I am testing staining a darker cherry on the bulkwalks and cannon ports to give a more British “frigate “ look.

Progress on 4 more cannon:

And started the PS quarter cabin structure. I had the same issues as with my SB side with plenty adjustments so the great cover up later will be in scale and look good

The main reason for not finishing as I go besides that little devil, Ricochet, is I will using an oil finish and most parts need to glue first. Slowly slowly I hope to catch this monkey.
Cheers Grant

That’s the advantage of working on several parts and stages, Grant. There is a moment that everything comes to an end and you can show us a lot of finished work. :) Nevertheless, what you show us now looks good.
Regards, Peter.

Thanks Peter. The most difficult thing is to continuously remind myself - "patience don't rush". I just want something to look good ROTF. Cheers Grant
