Very nice work, it's must be hard to put in partial planks and still show how the whole plank would carry on along the hull. Great pictures of the full hull, a lot of work has gone into that!

Thank you very much Dom. I don’t know what I was thinking when I decided to leave gaps for the frame views and partial planking as these did create some head scratches. I think they came out reasonably ok however I am still hoping the overall presentation once done will get to the look I want. Cheers Grant
Good morning. For those who don’t know me Ricochet Rabbit is in full flow.
Started the breech lines on my cannon:
I did attempt to do the knot for historical accuracy, however this was too bulky so just seized these to the rings.
Cut 5mmx1.5mm planks from my cherry block (Eish my milling is very sad- maybe one day I will buy some machines as my hand skill …….well.) and planked the upper bulkwalks.
Very much WIP:
Staining the “red” on the outside a darker cherry to achieve the colour variation(subtle and a little more prominent than the photo shows)

Unfortunately, I don't care for football/soccer, IMHO more bad theater than sport. A tap on the ankle, curling to the ground, hoping to frame the opponent for a yellow card. No, take a cyclist or motorbike racer instead... sometimes hitting the ground at many km/h, getting up quickly, checking if the bike is still intact, and then continuing.
...a bit exaggerated, but look at Rugby to see how it can be done.

Well, on this fine winters morning in the Cape of good hope I thought I would frustrate you some more with some more bouncing.
Maybe in a few years I will put something completed together .

Thanks Allan. I just assumed all canon rigging had a 1- 2 block tackle. I could change these as I only made 3, however I would have to buy more single blocks, which for us in SA is 120% the normal price. I guess my flawed frigate will just have to be more flawed.Not a big deal, but according to Caruana in The History of English Sea Ordnance the running out and train tackles for guns smaller than 32 pounders used two single blocks. Something for the future.
