wow. that looks great! CongratulationsGood morning everyone. It is time to start making her look pretty. I have started with the “upside down” as once I start rigging cannon, turning over is probably not recommended.

Note : I chose not to bend the first diminishing plank below the wale as I wanted the wing transom fully shown.
I have not sent any pics of the whole ship for a while so here is some:

Good morning Stephan. Im starting to like my ship a little bit now. I can't build like you guys where every aspect is made to perfection, however I am encouraged with the begining of my clean up.It's starting to look really nice. The wood's natural tones really stand out. Hats off to the attention to detail.
Thank you Shotalooking wonderful!!!
Thank you kindly Cpt Jack.wow. that looks great! Congratulations
Thans Brad. Yep looking a little bit betterAwesome set of photos showing off a great build, from all the right angles!
Looking pretty however you pose her!

Nice upside down and overall pictures, Grant. She shows her nice wood tones and painting. And it shows your personal touch what makes her unique. That’s to your credit!Good morning everyone. Grant,
This current set of images are (is in europe? -- haha) breathtakingly so perfect - Your skill set could not be improved under any circumstances (yea I know, you probably question your work quality. DON'T !!
Big Cheers

Very nice work, it's must be hard to put in partial planks and still show how the whole plank would carry on along the hull. Great pictures of the full hull, a lot of work has gone into that!Good morning everyone. It is time to start making her look pretty. Thank you very much Dom. I don’t know what I was thinking when I decided to leave gaps for the frame views and partial planking as these did create some head scratches. I think they came out reasonably ok however I am still hoping the overall presentation once done will get to the look I want. Yes, the canon rigging has started …..Good morning. For those who don’t know me Ricochet Rabbit is in full flow.
Started the breech lines on my cannon:

I did attempt to do the knot for historical accuracy, however this was too bulky so just seized these to the rings.
Cut 5mmx1.5mm planks from my cherry block (Eish my milling is very sad- maybe one day I will buy some machines as my hand skill …….well.) and planked the upper bulkwalks.
Very much WIP:

Staining the “red” on the outside a darker cherry to achieve the colour variation(subtle and a little more prominent than the photo shows)

Yep…..that long and fiddly process has begun.Yes, the canon rigging has started …..it’s looking very nice, Grant.

. I watched your team obliterate Sweden…..so very good. You guys must be happy after their stuttering start against Japan. Cheers GrantUnfortunately, I don't care for football/soccer, IMHO more bad theater than sport. A tap on the ankle, curling to the ground, hoping to frame the opponent for a yellow card. No, take a cyclist or motorbike racer instead... sometimes hitting the ground at many km/h, getting up quickly, checking if the bike is still intact, and then continuing. You guys must be happy after their stuttering start against Japan.

Good morning Peter. Ahh nothing pollutes my log…..my ship building does that all in itselfUnfortunately, I don't care for football/soccer, IMHO more bad theater than sport. A tap on the ankle, curling to the ground, hoping to frame the opponent for a yellow card. No, take a cyclist or motorbike racer instead... sometimes hitting the ground at many km/h, getting up quickly, checking if the bike is still intact, and then continuing.
...a bit exaggerated, but look at Rugby to see how it can be done.
Sorry for this possibly polluted post in this log of your very nice build.
Regards, Peter
. I too am a Rugby fan first (being South African it’s part of our DNA) and motorsport second. I do enjoy the soccer World Cup tho. Cheers Grant

.Thanks Allan. I just assumed all canon rigging had a 1- 2 block tackle. I could change these as I only made 3, however I would have to buy more single blocks, which for us in SA is 120% the normal price. I guess my flawed frigate will just have to be more flawed. Not a big deal, but according to Caruana in The History of English Sea Ordnance the running out and train tackles for guns smaller than 32 pounders used two single blocks. Something for the future.
