That’s looking very nice, Keith. A kind of a milestone, congratulations.I have been progressing steadily with the lower deck timbers and have reached a good point to take a break and some pictures. All seems to fit in place very well and I'm very pleased with the result so far, with none of the hanging knees clashing with the cabin bulkheads. I've got to say the accuracy of this kit is amazing but all the platform deck details are slowly disappearing and after the addition of the gun deck and quarter and fore decks will barely be visible at all. What a kit this is! Well done Victor and Modelship Dockyard.

Congratulations with this milestone, Keith. It's looking very nice and impressive. All lower deck beams are now in place, together with their knees. Just have to finish the remaining carlings and that's the lower deck timbers complete. With a fair amount of sanding and shaping everything fits nicely. Victor and his team at Modelship Dockyard have a very well designed and produced kit here.

Yes. And I have the photographs to prove itCongratulations! A major accomplishment that, unfortunately, is about to be somewhat hidden. But we know!

Thanks Bill. Really glad you like itHi Keith,
Your Enterprise looks beautiful. I very much enjoy following your work.

Another milestone, Keith. It’s looking great!Good afternoon. Thank you to everyone for your comments and likes in my last post. The lower deck is now completely finished, with the addition of the last few carlings and the waterways. Stairways have also been added fore and aft from the orlop and platform decks.. Finally, the finishing touch. All has the wood finish treatment of Clou, up to the gun deck level, which has bought out the colour of the pear wood beautifully ready for the next stage, the lower deck bulkheads. I am really pleased with the result so far and it has been a pleasure to work on this kit. Considering the amount of things that have to come together right, the design of this kit is amazing
