HMS ENTERPRISE by Keith 1:48 scale. New Kit from M.D.

I have been progressing steadily with the lower deck timbers and have reached a good point to take a break and some pictures. All seems to fit in place very well and I'm very pleased with the result so far, with none of the hanging knees clashing with the cabin bulkheads. I've got to say the accuracy of this kit is amazing but all the platform deck details are slowly disappearing and after the addition of the gun deck and quarter and fore decks will barely be visible at all. What a kit this is! Well done Victor and Modelship Dockyard.

That’s looking very nice, Keith. A kind of a milestone, congratulations.
Regards, Peter

All lower deck beams are now in place, together with their knees. Just have to finish the remaining carlings and that's the lower deck timbers complete. With a fair amount of sanding and shaping everything fits nicely. Victor and his team at Modelship Dockyard have a very well designed and produced kit here.
