I created from scratch a "Word Search Puzzle". It has 99 ship names. I could have made it 100, but just could not fit it in. Have fun with it. All the names of ships are listed to help.

I would like to have some feedback if any of you tried it and was successful in getting them all.

DOWNLOAD either PDF or a DOCX file.

Just an FYI. The word listed is "CVN69" but in the puzzle I found "CVN 69" with a space. :)
There is also a blank square with no letter and not blacked out.
You have "Avos" on the list twice.

Very good Jeff - well, that does not surprise me of the error - first time designing a puzzle like that. I need to go make those corrections.

I only count 68(?). Where are the rest? I saw the 2 attachments, yet just different ways to receive for one page. Am I missing something for the 99 count?

Blessings,
JJ

Hi JJ,
Well, this is my first puzzle to design. I am sure ( I think) I allowed for 99 ships. Some are diagonal and can be reversed. So can you send me some of the names you are not able to find and I can give you a hint or just give the answer for you.

Thank you for your response. My husband is the one that does the word searches and thought he would enjoy. I though there would be 99 different and only counted 69 in the list. I've tried to create crossword puzzles and certainly understand how difficult for either crosswords or word searches! I found this very interesting and thought hubby would enjoy when he gets back from travel. I'd say Kudos for what you have done!

Blessings,
JJ
