HMS La Licorne 1775 from Harold Hahn plans

Welcome. It is a great forum to learn new skills and techniques!

Thanks for sharing all the photos of your current build

If they are not already glued in place, it is not too late to change the gratings. The gratings in the photos have the battens running athwartships and the ledges fore and aft. They should have the battens running fore and aft and ledges athwartships. The top of the gratings lays flush with the head ledges and coamings otherwise create a tripping hazard., It may be too late, but for the future.... :)

I appreciate a lot your suggestion Allan, you are right I did several mistakes in the lower bridge construction due my amateur lack of experience, I still studying and try to improve from mistakes, Il try to figure it out how to fix gratings in lower bridge BTW for sure I'll do better on the construction of upper deck.

thanks for your great support

Max, your response is very much appreciated. Time and practice are part of our adventure. For those hobbyists that have an interest in history and want to learn how actual ships were built, research is extremely important and for some people it gives as much joy as the build itself. It seems to be a never ending adventure, so it never gets too boring! :)
