Thanks for this nice post, Russ! You've hit the nail on the head Paul. I use the reasoning, and have also convinced the Admiral with respect to her hobbies, that cost is relative to the return on investment. I know many people who wouldn't bat an eye at spending $100 per person on a fine meal that might last at most 2 hours and then just get pooped out, yet they scream at spending $100 on parts/materials/kits that will give hours or even weeks of enjoyment and produce an item that will endure for a long time. I guess it's all in what you really value.
As for your brackets, I can't believe that it took you only two weeks to make those - they are stunning!
Have fun in Maine!
Happy birthday PaulHappy Birthday Paul

Thanks for asking. My bitumen tests didn’t turn out the way I had hoped. I wanted just the slightest bit of contrast and it gave too much and looked muddy rather than rich. In my imagination I will one day build a model that looks aged. But the SP won’t be that model.I will also join in wishing you a happy birthday Paul. By the way, how did you go with testing bitumen for antiquing the model ?

i had a similar problem recently. Nowhere near 100 pages of course, but I made a request to delete some extranious posts. It is pending approval by the admins. I'll let you know how it goes.Sigh… I just noticed this is my third build report to eclipse 100 pages. I fully realize this makes it completely unusable to anyone with a future interest in finding a specific detail in the construction. My apologies to that future modeler…
There was a very detailed report on another forum (now lost) that had a hyper-linked index but wow, that’s a lot of work…
I am confident that @Jimsky can make your every deletion dream come true.i had a similar problem recently. Nowhere near 100 pages of course, but I made a request to delete some extranious posts. It is pending approval by the admins. I'll let you know how it goes.

I wonder if he needs to know the exact post number. My ask was to delete all the posts from my log from yesterday.I am confident that @Jimsky can make your every deletion dream come true.

Unless a post violates the forum rules, deleting another member’s post without a valid reason is neither appropriate nor particularly polite to others, IMHO. But....I'm open to discussions/suggestions.I wonder if he needs to know the exact post number. My ask was to delete all the posts from my log from yesterday.
