Thank you Allan for your kind words. I have told my wife, the day i cannot learn something just dig the hole, it's over.
The drawings would be very helpful, i do have a German friend that would most likely help with translating to German if you would like.

One side of the bulwark inner wall is complete.
On to the other side today.

Port side is now complete, no picture, it looks exactly like the starboard side.

After much careful sanding of the bulkheads, the first two pieces of planking have been added.
After the glue set, i removed the nails, it seems that they would cause high spots or problems of that nature when adding the second, finish layer.
I am struggling with all the fuss to get the first layer perfect. Certainly, the goal is to do a nice, neat job of it but if it requires some fillers and sanding for a smooth surface, that seems ok to me, it all gets covered by the second layer which is much more important. What am i missing?
