PROMISE one VERY last post for tis log....

I had spent a lot of time adding LEDs to stern area of ship build. But my Apple phone video would not work on this site (I need some kind of extra software)
I did find this at Evans ( one of our retail sponsors) I was so happy with their products that I sent them that video,

Just wanted to share it here = Promise all done

Hi mates,

Minor ship case update - The Admiral was sharing that during the evenings the case is too dark. She suggested that I add some lighting.
These rechargeable ones from Amazon are a nice compliment for the case. A few images,

Ship's boat was from Master Korabel - I did change that out-of-scale- anchor.

I purchased 5 more of those shi boats (eBay) will need them for the - under the table - Lorenoque from 1848 - the plastic one that came with the kit will be tossed out...

PS: Your's will be a work of a lifetime - congrats....

Aren't those Master Korabel boat kits fantastic? I always use them instead of the simple ship model kit boats, ESPECIALLY the plastic ones. I wish Master Korabel made 17th century model ship kits with the same level of micro-details as the boat kits!

Indeed, they are!!

Regarding Korabel creating larger super detailed kits - hmm there are, IMO ,currently some alternatives that are quite close to your level of interest. Several from Pavel Nikitin, of course those from Vanguard ($$$$) - arguably the best of their class. And ZHL also produce superb kits including awesome cross-sections.

Daniel’s @Daniel20 - current log is way up there in that regard. But, yes for small supper detailed ship’s boats Korabel is the best. It would seem that with 3D printing becoming part of this hobby manufacturers could very cheaply include super-detailed examples of their currently - to the trash bin - examples.
