?All ok Kurt,Sorry for starting a tangent @oldflyer . Thanks for your feedback on this. Your build is indeed beautiful. Please do provide a conclusion to your build log.

wow. those models look great!Hi all,
It’s display location is a compromise. Though it did (PTWT) pass the wife test.
I purchased the base stand at Amazon - it’s a TV watching dinner table - didn’t know you could still sit on the side of the bad to have dinner?
So, I’m three for three.
Sovereign fits there OK - but does encroach with my other hobby collection location.
Santisima cross section was always intended to live there and it is also close to the rum haha
Vasa location was chosen by both of us - thought all family photos etc. had to be moved --- hmmmm
===================
Current Oseberg build - fireplace mantle would be an overkill. And I’ve been advised as much by the Admiral - all good.
====================
So, goodbye to this log of six years - now to be lost in Cyberspace.

Thanks buddy.All ok Kurt,
I know - we all know - that you are a fanatic for this ship (That was a huge compliment)
Cheers
Huge congratulations, John! To see a six-year journey come to fruition like this is deeply inspiring. As someone who is barely five hours into my very first kit, looking at your finished masterpiece gives me both a massive sense of awe and a true appreciation for the patience this hobby requires. Brilliant work, and an incredible achievement!
Jackwow. those models look great!
