USS Constitution 1:70 Scratch

I think they are top of the line machines across the board. Trying to find any of these on eBay is nearly impossible. And when they do show up they are very expensive. All of this speaks to the quality of anything made by Byrnes.
 
is there a link to that tutorial you mention?
If there is, would it be possible to send it to me?
I just looked up Byrnes and it is an orbital machine with a manual takeup spool.
 
Sorry, no. Geoff (aka Thrasher) did this old school. It's less of a tutorial, more like class notes for a presentation he made, back in the day. If he's okay with it, I'll scan what he gave me, and I'll send the pdf to you as a direct message.
 
tomorrow i plan on reviewing the Bluejacket plans so that I can figure out what to do with the masts. I have a sneaky suspision that I won't like what I see...
