Hi Guys
Just found a ship by Euro model I have wanted since I was young. A long time ago. Could I please have your input on this model kit company? I've never seen the Friedrich.Wilhem offered anywhere else. All comments are welcome good or bad. Listed at $779.00.

Thanks everyone

John

It is all over the internet! Put this in a Google search:
euro model wood ship kit friedrich wilhelm
I can't tell you anything else about it because I never build kits!

Here are a series of videos of about this ship from Euromodel

Euromodel Como are no longer in business, but you might be lucky to pick up a kit.

Search though the forum, there was discussion about this a few weeks ago.

G'day John, I bought this kit quite awhile ago now, but I ended up scratch building the hull etc and used their decorations, when i built it the instructions were printed on two pages and that included the historical data as well, I will add a link to my log on the forum so you can take a look if you want, she makes up into a very nice ship, here is the link,

hope this helps you,

best regards John,

PS if you have any questions just ask,

Hi John,
For quite a number of years now, Euromodel have had a set of pdf files (in English) for each of their ships and so reference to the 'printed pages' is very much an obsolete aspect. They continue to operate as a small family-based business. The build logs as such are in various stages of completion as they are all being written by the one person - myself. For example, the pdf files for the Ajax are only four in number, but many other ship builds are much more extensive. All pdf files are freely down-loadable from their website.

Peter,
my information came from the modellers central web page about 2 years ago. They stated ( incorrectly ) that Euromodels are no longer in business, but perhaps they had a hidden agenda.
They were no longer stocking the kits for some reason.

That is impressive work Neptune. I have been toying with building a built-up hull but I don't know if I'm up to it.
I'm working on my fourth kit right now. The Amati kit of the Mercury.
