Treenailing the planks.

Got it!! Thank you for the quick reply. Earlier today, I posted treenail tutorial on my building log. Check it out, if interested.
Enjoy the weekend,

Por lo general, marca las cabezas de los clavos con un lápiz, luego la madera con un mecanismo correcto y "calafateo" el agujero con una mezcla de pegamento blanco, polvo de pintura y pintura negra que se diluye en el agua.
Saludos

google translator:
Usually, mark the nail heads with a pencil, then the wood with a correct mechanism and "caulk" the hole with a mixture of white glue, paint powder and black paint that is diluted in the water.

Hello Y.T. I am always trying to match the filler with the planks color. If you think about it, treenails where made from the same wood as planking, perhaps, however. it may not be a treenails - it may be just a plug. Carpenters Elmer's filler is not white, it is more of a yellowish color, but white is also available. Also, the filler is accepting stains!! Below are available colors.

I have seen that but thats a different method.

But, you are correct, Zoly! On one of the links, you have posted earlier, Alex Dobrenko (past away last month) shows his method of making treenails by drilling timber with specially sharpened blunt needle, then using the table saw sliced them off.
