I wonder if any of you are familiar with this machine / experience.
It looks like this is the best option on spider sander I can buy here in norway.
www.gustavsenas.no. is the supplier in norway.
I don't know if this link works.

I use now one year a scheppach spindelsander. It is similar to the triton. I love this tool and its worth every cent.
It´s not for precision, for me its only to get the rough shape from the frames, the stem, whatever-
Only one thing. The adapterrings has a little gap in the height to the table. Sometimes the parts remains hanging in this gap.
If this happens the part is for the trash. I used a duct tape to get the same height with the rings like the table. Now its works very well.
But its more interesting, to look at the newer model with the adjustable table.

Thanks Oliver for your response, I rate this machine very strongly because I want exactly 90 degree angle on all parts
who needs it at Rattlesnake which is in the beginning stage now.
For example, the bow which consists of 6 parts to be glued together with equal opening between them on each side.
There is also black cardboard between the parts.

Maybe you did not see the tool I am working - and I am extremely happy with it - an investment for the complete modelers life - I have the JET JBOS-5

The Jet is the Ferrari under the spindelsanders. But the price !
In my personal opinion is qualitiy in tools every time important.
But i think that the qualitiy gap between the two machines doesn´t will help you get a more better result.
In other tools the gap in qualitiy will be more visible but the spindelsander is a simple up and down tool.
It´s only my opinion and my envy is with you and your awesome machine. I think also it was your first and your
last Spindelsander.

For me the most important argument for the "Mercedes" and not "Ferrari" was the noise these tools are making.
If you sand on the spindle sander, the tool is running sometimes easily 30 min or 1 hour without stopping (several frames to make f.e.)
And than you are happy, that this machine is running with some decibel less than the others.
Before my decision for the Jet, I was searching around and was reading a lot, and the sound was the final decision, plus tilting table, plus the very small possible diameter of the spindle (but this most of them have already)

Uwe, Oliver, this machine is quite expensive, 320 eur, I do not know what your cost but it must have been very expensive for me
if you plus on transportation and customs.
I saw a video where a man was talking while the machine was on,
It was no problem to hear what the man said, I'm on my way to order today.

Several years ago I bought a Wood River spindle sander. It has 6 drums from 1/2" to 3" and a good dust collection system.
I have used it for everything from 12" high lettering for outdoor signs to sanding ship and aircraft frames to the line. A real timesaver. I think I paid about $160.00 US for it.
