I have to say the plans and instructions for this kit would be the worst I have come across.
I also replace the visible ply with solid wood for a better look.

Good work. I built this 2 years ago to give as a present but loved it and kept it for myself. There are advantages of this scale and the additional bits are fun. With the help of blogs of this boat, I think it a good 2nd build for a almost newbie.
