Thanks very much for the update

Don,
Being new to the site, I'm still learning the ropes, so please forgive me if this is a dumb question and chalk it up to me still being on the lower end of the learning curve.

As I see completed works from the gallery scrolling at the top of the home page, if I try to click on the image of a particular build that catches my eye, instead of taking me to the particular thread for that model, it only takes me to the first page of the gallery forum. Nor have I figured out how to find amongst all the gallery entries the particular model that caught me eye. Is this a limitation of how the HTML is coded, or is there something I'm overlooking in how to navigate the site?

Thank you Namabiiru for your question as it is good.

Yes, this is correct

You are correct again, as when you click on the scrolling gallery, unfortunately, it only takes you to the first page of the Gallery and then you have to search all of the pages for your model. I am sure that there has to be a way that when you click on your desired ship, that it would do two things. 1) carry you to the ships gallery page and 2) carry you to the threads build log.
Both of which are way far beyond my coding abilities. It would take someone that created the forum software to devise such a "plug-in" if you will to be able to perform such a task.
As a matter of fact, the scrolling image would not even do what it is doing now, as I did figure a way to code it so that people would be taken at least to the Gallery. In the older method, when you clicked on the ship of your choice, it only showed a thumbnail of the image and that was all - and nothing could be further obtained from that. I think that even if what you are suggesting could be done, it would require a lot of back programming on a constant basis. However, as I said, unfortunately, it is beyond my expertise.

In conclusion, if there is a particular ship(s) that you are interested in, I can try to help you find the Build Log for it.

The other alternative is to use the "Search" Feature of the site which is located at the very top navigation bar to the RIGHT. You will see your login Name, an envelope, a Bell, and then a Magnifying Glass with "Search"
Clicking on the Search opens up a whole method of searching for things on the site.

I hope this answer helps.

Kindly
Donald

Thanks, Don. Great response and explanation. Unfortunately for me, this site is to much like a kid in a candy shop (or a me in a beer shop): There's just so much great stuff here, I would have no time for anything else if I looked at all of it. No point in me dragging you down with me...
