First of all, allow me to wrote the whole building wip in Chinese. you can also use Google to translated it.

The 1/128 Druid section is part of the entire 1/128 Druid plan. There are four parts to this plan, and the cross section of the crotch has been developed into a product from the unicorn model. I saw that many friends also bought through some channels.

What I showed you today is the production process at the back.

First of all, you can see that the design of the ankle stern is different from that of the stern. This design is more convenient for the bonding of the spacer blocks.

But when I got the test piece, the ship was not made, so I can only do it in the basic way. That is, the ribs are flipped and fixed on the template with rubber bands.

After cleaning the excess part of the spacer block, the outer surface is polished.

The inner carbon black is also polished and shaped, and then the inner skin is applied. In order to show the effect of transparency, the inner skin is not covered, but in a spaced manner.

Hi YiFan,

Great to see more members from China on the blog.
I like the mid section very much, is it already available via Toabao?

Is the mid section starting where the rear section ends so you can combine them to one model?

Those models are Soooo nice.
I have been scratch building miniatures for a few years now. (SoS member Shipbuilder's method) and quite enjoy it.
Is there anyway you can show the box contents next to a known object so that we can see how small the parts actually are?

Thanks for your kind Maarten. I think I am in a new family now. the mid section will be on sale very soon.
Honestly, this is project was whole ship. and the hull divided into four parts. basically we can combine them up. But in order to have the best performance, you should build them together.

Would be great to make one display of sections.
I agree with you totally. Some weeks ago I found in the web photos of the living room from a modeler, who had three models in scale 1:48 of one french (ancre) model in display, a bow-section, one midship and one stern section - It was Looking great......
and in this small scale of 1:128 you can put these three models in one display cabinet..... would be really a very good project for in between a big size model
