1/350 USS Idaho BB-42 kit bashed from Hobby Boss USS Arizona with plans in Polish/English

So, to get back on track, blog is about me kit bashing Hobby Boss USS Arizona into USS Idaho.

that is why i suggested to Tom to start his own thread so as not to mix up models even if same class.
what is the status of your Idaho?
do not cut the hull down to the belt/torpedo bulge as that is what Tom did to his & learned that was a mistake. cut the casements out & put a new correct deck in so that it will also be the top plate for the new bow. that is what i did on my 2(New Mexico & Idaho) of 4 New Mexico class battleships(2x USS Mississippi : BB41 & AG128). just got some of the plans for AG128 USS Mississippi recently from a member on ModelWarships.com.

Will, SigEp Ziggy asked me if i could help him in this conversion back in July 23 2019 in this link https://cs.finescale.com/fsm/modeling_subjects/f/7/t/182535.aspx due to my OBB post using Revell's 1/429 scale USS Arizona model to build 17 models from the Wyoming class to the Colorado class during ww2 & after.

i was talking about the Idaho as not knowing til now about the you doing the Arizona. in regards to the Arizona, are you going to do her pre-attack or as sunk?

As sunk on the Arizona and will be building Idaho as a fleet on stands with ships removable

why not do another model of the Arizona before she was sunk so you can show the change from pre-attack to sunk to memorial?

That's a good idea, the Revell kit is not too expensive
