Hello all,
I'm finally able to start a build log. I started this build in May and its been slow going as work and summer school vacation has hindered me a little. I'll get everyone caught up with pictures and move on from there. As always comments, suggestions, etc. are always welcome. Thanks for watching.

I always like those small models as they easier to put on shelves
More delicate to build also as the inside planking is also showing not only the outside
You succeed very well congratulation well done

Hallo Curtis,
once more welcome to the board and many thanks for starting this building log of the longboat.
Looking like a good kit - what is the scale of the longboat?

Nicely done Curtis,I will follow this post with interest as I am building the 1/4 " - 1" version about half the size of yours. Very nice kit but a challenge for the small size-12" overall

Your boat is coming along very nicely. Interesting to see how much more detail there is in the larger version. My smaller model is going very slow now but I am just painting the hull and starting the risers. Also a very enjoyable kit to build.
