Model Shipways provides an excellent beginner's kit with detailed, graphic instruction manual of prototype prepared by Chuck Passaro. Photos and narrative of step-by-step instructions proved an invaluable guide for a first time builder!. I learned a lot from his tutelage and from members of this forum. Follow are some photos of my build from keel, planking and rigging.

Looks great. I’m just starting this kit. What type of glue did you use?

I used Titebond II Premium Wood Glue and Super Glue gel. The latter drys very fast-- in seconds-- and the former has a fast set time. Goodluck with your build.
