Hot-melt rhinestones are decorative elements that imitate precious stones: they can be made of glass, crystal, or acrylic, faceted, and often coated with a metallic layer for added shine. The main difference is that hot-melt rhinestones have a hot-melt adhesive backing. To secure the rhinestone, the adhesive must be melted by heating, allowing it to adhere securely to the surface.Thanks. Did you manage to straighten horses and stirrups? They are my major concern. I am so much frustrated with my polyester stirrups in particular that I am thinking to replace them with blackened copper wire.
Also what is your heater applicator initial purpose? I did not know they existed.
Did you manage to straighten horses and stirrups from your initial yard picture? These are the "walking" ropes and their vertical supports.bought a heat-applicator for bending hull planking strips.
Паяльник для страз мини утюг для рукоделия термоаппликатор розовыйCan I ask what model/make your "heated thermal applicator" (= heat gun?) is. What temperature/setting do you use? I have a large heat gun, but it's too large for doing the kind of stuff you're doing here.

Thanks for that information. It seems to be a very compact unit, which is good. Looking on Amazon for something similar.Паяльник для страз мини утюг для рукоделия термоаппликатор розовый
the temperature is not adjustable, they are all about the same, so you'll need a set of attachments.
A soldering iron certainly produces the heat, but it's made to heat solder, etc. by contact. You'd have to get it really close, and a touch to the thread and that line is gone. The suggested mini heat gun produces hot air, which can be diverted and contained by attachments. I just wonder what heat is required. The recommended one from Russia does not state temperature or watts. Those on Amazon have temperatures from 200 degrees Celsius to 500 degrees Celsius. I'm not sure what is required.Cannot I use a soldering iron with a dimmer for this purpose?
