Funny you should ask. The Doll House was a womans that had owned since she was a child. I restored it for her to give to her daughter. She was so happy she sat down and cried. I did it for free. Amazing how many requests I receive from people wanting me to build models of their houses, not my forte but sombody might enjoy doing that.

Fortunately - well not really - we moved from a pretty large house to a small duplex so I no longer have a large basement or 3 garage spaces to handle my hobby things. I now have a man 'cave' with what's left though still have a 10x20 foot storage unit with some of the leftovers along with a single car garage for my other primary hobby, a hot rod '31 Ford roadster, 3-4 tool boxes along with the few wood working tools that I have left after the move. There are currently 2 wood boat kits and a plastic model airplane and a couple car models under s-l-o-o-w construction in my limited and usually congested space. No 'cave' photos as I can't get far enough away to show my stuff.

Someone, I don't know who, once said that a "clean desk is the sign of a sick mind". Also, Einstein once said, "If a cluttered desk is the sign or a cluttered mind, what then is an empty desk a sign?" Lots of clutter is good.

Not proud of it:

I think we may have a winner. ding.ding.ding.ding.
You must be proud of it or you wouldn't post the picture. HA! Question if I may: how do you get two monitors to work on one desk top or do you need two desktops? I've been wanting to hook the PC in my living room up to another monitor on my hobby room. Can I do that?

Oh My - well, I think some of you are in the lead for sure.

I'm not sure what you mean. Two monitors can certainly be set up to view two windows on your PC; my son uses 3 in fact. But I have one monitor for my computer (with the SoS screen on it) and a separate TV. The TV is on a stand with my cable receiver and Xbox below it, the computer monitor is on a stand that has built in small drawers.

But no, I am NOT proud of it, and I can rarely find anything. But it just seems to get that way, even if I take time to clean and organize.

Everyone who sees my workroom wonders how I can find anything and get anything done. But I know where everything is. Someone once said, "Show me a man with a clean desk and I'll show you a man with messy drawers!"

Ohhhh just wait till I get some photos transferred to a computer so I can post them. I'm not sure I want to show these, I've been the shop for 20 of the past 30 years. Hang on mates, I really need to move some photos. I have some giant models to show all of you. 'When you build them BIG!'
