Best quality rigging material

Hi all.
Been modelling for most of my life but I am a complete novice when it comes to ship building and materials. My question is, who makes the best quality ropes for rigging etc. I am about to make a large scale (1/35) diorama of the main mast of a 1800 Frigate. I will scratchbuild everything but are lost when it comes to high qualitry rigging/rope material. Any help would be appreciated.
