The stern gallery only has 3 actual windows, the rest are "dummies" than are covered in iron. A transitional period of time where Naval architects were trying to move away from have huge compromised sterns, but customs and traditions and indeed the RN Officers expected to have their Stern cabin still with windows. Within a few short years these would be completely gone and replaced by machinery spaces.

I think building this model with the all the stern displayed as actual windows is better for display, especially if lighting. Ultimately these models are our artistic canvas, and I think it's more immersive if someone can look in and see into another time and place. Food for thought!
