Black Pearl, 1:72, scratch build log

Fantastic work. I am loving the effect of the black colorations. Did you carve the transom decorations and female figures supporting the cabin or did you adapt something to make them?
Eric, Transom decorations are cut outs metal pieces than assembled in the way they are and female figures are 3D printed. I tried to carve them but found too complicated at that small scale to be carved.. Well I might carve one or two, but not that number and all to be identical

Just one more sail to be mounted ( the one clamped to to the yard) and some correction on a few messed ropes and rigging is over.
A few more details to be added- lifeboat, barrels and crates, rope coils, pirate flag, until my glass display case is done, and the story is over
After year and a half this beautiful adventure is coming to her end. What's the next?

As the final touch to the completion of the ship build, Poseidon's head was done. Used FIMO modeling clays that are awesome for fine small detailed work and after baking it for 45 minutes or so at 130 degC in the oven it becomes solid ceramics.
