I think I will take a shot at building a case. I thought about a mirror back on the case so you can see both sides. Any thoughts?

Wow I feel close. This has been a great experience so far. I am going to finish it, not perfect or even close. It's like a car going 60 mph on the freeway, looks pretty good. But the first one is getting done. Working on sails and some dying stuff. The detail rigging is hard to get pics of. Finish line to come.

Yes I am. Here is what I'm using. I did a couple of samples. Going for dark as I can get. Black pearl you know. I thought I would sew first so I can see the material better. It's a little harder when you haven't done it before. The samples I did seem to be going for the color I'm looking for. After I get the sails sewed I plan on dying them all at once and try to keep the color uniform.

I have the sails done. The dying process went well. I got to the color I was hoping for. Will see tomorrow after they dry. Home stretch underway. I was short some rigging. ZHL sent me some no ?. Thanks for that.

Making some progress with the sails. Getting close. I feel like a parent getting ready to send my kid of to school. Finishing up feels a little strange after all this time. I will try and finish before my next post. Thanks everyone for the support. I don't feel like a rookie anymore.
