No reason to worry Dean

I thought I had done something wrong, but the other mast with the square is for the aft deck
Just looked at the drawing again
The round ring fits there
At the foredeck I have placed in such a way that all deck elements fit here
Everything again under control here, I was shocked

You are showing nails on the planks, at the edge of the square mast plate. The planks would normally go up to and around the mast hole. Then the mast has a base ring on top of the deck planks, which is round. If you want to leave that area unplanked to show the mast plate at the deck level, then the boards are actually cut short for viewing purposes and would not have nails. That is what confused me.

Did a few tests today for the deck construction

Not white, but cream white, this will be the final color for me

Adjusted the shutters etc, a shutter will be opened, stars are partly open


And also did some color tests with the slats I have

Shutterswill be sanded straight later on

Took a different route to avoid the soot problem
And immediately did some tests to see how the coloring of the deck planks would turn out . to see your mistakes, to show the colors is another story . In reality, this looks better than the photo would lead you to believe.

Aft deck sanded again and glued strips, and replaced the connecting lath 55 to my own version because due to my adjustments the lath in the kit no longer fit

Decided to first plank the hull and then continue on the deck to finish it, the white color is still the primer

After suffering serious damage earlier this year, my BN decided to continue his journey and immediately made some adjustments, which I was previously less satisfied with.

As is well known, colors come out less ''Out of the paint'' through photography
