Bluenose Dories

I’m from the East Coast and this reminds me of my Newfie friends. You see these colours throughout the Maritimes on houses, fish sheds, boats, etc. I didn’t like the dark violet and needed some tidying, here’s the updated version of the Maritimer Dory. Added my oars, gaffs and a couple of buckets.image.jpg
 
Here are the completed dories. Just need to make the tie downs. Yes, those are 4 furled sails sitting on the oars.

Great looking loaded dories ready to go out to work. I cut in some gurry sluices which I found between the Bodnar practicum (p 71) for the 1:48 POF schooner, and my Bluenose II book. I hope to bring my attempt up to the level of quality that your schooner shows. Rich (PT-2)
