I will skip the details for the Bluenose I or II as they have been well explained elsewhere.

@Heinrich helped me to order a YQ kit. It has been paid for and shipped now. As of 3 days ago it was in Shanghai slowly making its way here. Ive no real way to track it as others have done.
I am also going to start a scratch build here: https://shipsofscale.com/sosforums/...actium-by-gene-bodnar-rev-2-by-finglas.19764/
but.. I am going to redraft the Elsinor plan to work here.

I own on of the D size full sets of plans by Jenson copy 337 out of 1000 made.. its huge, a bit yellowed and given to me by a friend. The LOA of 143' is dead on on these 1/4=1' plans.

For now, if someone can. I would like to get the LOA measurement of the YQ model. It is 143' or 43.6 m. The Elsinor plan (checked by me and others) shows it is off by just at 2' or .5in 1/48)
At 1/72 (The YQ model) should be 1'-11'-7/8 (a little less). I am just curios about some measurements. I will be trying to build everything in scale for this model,

I am thankful that @Loracs and @Paul L and @Jimbo and @Bob Walters and @Peter Voogt are building or have finished in 2026.

Now to follow YQ's instructions... "Dear sir, hello, the "Full Ribs Blue Nose" is already on its way to you, please wait patiently!"
