This is a new log. I will be posting more in a bit.
Based on Drawings by Elsinor, and Drawings by L B Jenson, copy 337 full D sized and scaled prints.
There is one other log here by @bikepunk https://shipsofscale.com/sosforums/...s-by-p-f-eisnor-practium-by-gene-bodnar.2808/
which has seemed to become defunct.

My goal is to create a model using Bodnar's practicum and other references on the internet
Please note that Model Ship Builder (still exists but all log data gone) https://www.modelshipbuilder.com/ was the original source to obtain Elsinor drawings. But to date. After multiple tries to contact Winston, i have been unsucessful.
I will be also using this web site for reference as well https://www.van-vliet.org/dempseywoodworking/bluenose.shtml

I will start posting very soon.
Some pictures to look at:

I also have a copy of the practicum that I can provide..but I need to get permission from Winston at https://www.modelshipbuilder.com/ first. To date: no contact I will keep trying.

Best regards
Guy

Nice to see the start of your build-log for the Bluenose in scale 1:48, Guy. I will follow it with interest and will ad it in a new up-date soon of the BN-list.
Regards, Peter

Peter thanks... but.. I have come across problems with the elsinor drawings in that horizontally they are out by ~2ft (1/2" to scale). Vertically there are problems too.
This bugs me to no end. In order to fix this I have to redraft the drawings. I dont know that I am up to that. I "would" like the model to be as accurate as possible.
So.. I dont know that I would add it to the log quite yet. the other person had the same issues (Link in my original post).
No decision yet...
