Agree with you Jim, the Byrnes tools are the best in the business.

I have the draw plate, the disc sander, the Thickness sander and the table saw with all the accessories.
 
Many thanks for sharing with us - as I can see a lot of hints are in principle valid, so also for modelers which have machines from other producers interesting....

That is a lot of good information in a very few pages! I don't have a Byrnes saw, but I have been very happy my very old Dunlap cast iron saw- these are plentiful, cheap and all they need usually are new bushings:
