DIY Chop cutter

I did see something when I was searching on a DIY strip cutter used on thin sheets.

I have not see one that shows how to build an accurate and repeatable chopper. I looked at a number of pictues and thought about what I would need and how I would make a chopper.

I have the original chopper that I bought perhaps 30 or more years ago. It has a longer base board than current models and has hold downs secured by screws. In addition, it has stops so you can repeatedly chop pieces of a specified length. If these features are useful to you, one may show up on Ebay or a comparable site. Im would post a picture but I'm in Brooklyn and will not be back to Marbletown until late in June, where the device resides.

Fletch Dog’s cutter should do the trick. For each length you can tap a finishing nail into the groove as a stop. Tap the back of the box cutter to cut. I think that it’ll go quickly.

You can build this thing in less time than it takes to talk about it
