Since I joined SOS, Don was always commenting and suggesting modification to my builts. We exchanged several PMs and a emails, mainly when both were members of the Weasel's group. Amazing person with a personality and passion that I will remember for years to come.

Siamo addolorati nel condividere la notizia che uno dei nostri membri più longevi, Don Farr (87), che si era unito a Ships of Scale il 9 gennaio 2013, è scomparso mercoledì mattina.
Più avanti nella vita, Don trovò grande gioia e connessione attraverso la costruzione di modelli navali. Dopo la scomparsa della moglie, questa passione divenne fonte di conforto e di motivazione, aiutandolo a rimanere impegnato e fiducioso. La sua famiglia è profondamente grata per il ruolo che la costruzione navale e le amicizie che ha trovato qui a SOS hanno avuto nell'arricchire la sua vita e dargli forza.
La comunità SOS ha significato molto per Don e per la sua famiglia, che hanno apprezzato la compagnia e il sostegno che ha trovato tra gli altri modellisti.

Riposa in pace, Don Farr. Ci mancherai.
