The Amerigo Vespucci is not the easiest kit to start, but a very good kit - so we will all will try to help and assist you where and when ever necessary.
Best would be also, that you start a building log, where you show us your progress and we could give directly hints and tipps and answer questions if requested.

Looking at this model and knowing the work behind, I guess you will need somespecial tools for
Plank bending (especially the stern is relatively complicated)
and later on for the metal works you need tools for soldering
In general you will need some drills like from Proxxon or Dremel and also a small disc-sander is very helpful
just a beginning
