I really like the way things look when you start getting the “ropes” on. You have to go slow and make sure they aren’t crossing over each other in some strange way.

Didn’t get a lot done today. All three of the bowsprit sails are tied. The gaff sail or spanker? Is tied

One yard is on the foremast. (I did that last week.) I think I am going to tie the sails to the yards before I hang them. I tied four ropes on this yard.

I took the yard off the foremast and mounted the sail

All sails are on their yards.

The tea worked pretty well.

I got this tool set yesterday. It really simplifies rope hanks. The hanks I tied at the bow were not very easy. Now I’ll have a choice of three sizes. The first one I made was the “large” size. It’s just a little too big.
