Pretty much all you have to do is taking one of your 1st layer planks, curving it over your bulkheads at any positions where you have to lay planks and removing or adding material off and on the bulkheads. At the end of exercise plank will lay smooth over all bulkhead edges at any position on the hull. No gaps are acceptable.

An easy way to keep track of your progress is to blacken the outside edges of your bulkheads- when you are almost done there should be a fine black line left at the wide edge. I like to use a long home made rasp- just an 18" length of wood with coarse sandpaper glued to it. The long length keeps it cutting smoothly and evenly. You will need to have the framework solidly clamped while you do this.
