First build: Halcon 1:100

Rescue boat was built and painted. It was very difficult because it is so small.
You may find the following useful/interesting for future boat builds. https://shipsofscale.com/sosforums/threads/building-a-ships-boat.14490/ I have no clue as to the type or size of the boats for Halcon but the scantlings and method of building may be of some use. W.E. May shows drawings of launches, cutters, and others in his book The Boats of Men of War that you may find helpful.

Very good and accurate work, especially very good when we imagine, that you never build a ship model before and started with a kit of relatively low quality.
PS: for example the correction of the anchor based on Allan´s comment Thumbsup
PS2: I am pretty sure, that you are able to build a Victory, but maybe the second ship model should still have some guns smaller - maybe build a frigate - you will find a lot of challenges and details also on 28-gunner
PS3: Most important is, that you have fun with what you are doing - and looking at these photos of your first model we can see, that you have a lot of fun
BRAVO

Thank you for your comment. I’m glad you like it. Yes quality of this is pretty bad, I was struggling a lot. But the build looks pretty good for now. I’m little worried about next step, this little ropes will be a lot more difficult than the first part of this build.

Yes the next build will be something smaller than Victory. Can you help me with plans, where can I find/buy some. Is it better to buy a book or just plans? And is it any instructions with plans or is it just plan of ship. Because here was just one paper with pictures nothing else, so i was little surprised and scared about how will I build it.

Thanks for all your support, comments, help and advice. I will soon update with my progress.

Have a great day

My kind of model builder. Has CA on the fingertips;) Spent many minutes chewing off the CA and a little skin.
Well done.those ships boats are one of the more fiddly bits.
Haha yeah that’s the true. I was struggling with wood glue but it wasn’t working so it ended up being all glued up

Hi. Here is today’s update. Shipment has arrived. And after opening I’m a little worried about how i will finish this. All is so small, but beautiful

Hi. Today was a start. I started with rigging and I am struggling with it. All of parts are so small and hard to work with but I hope that I will succeed. Little pictures for today.

Write you soon with more progress.

Hello. A little progress. I just finished two sails. I was afraid that I would not manage to mount it correctly if I put any more ropes there. Even now was hard but I managed to do it right, I hope so.
Here are some pictures of progress.
Have a nice day

Hello sailor’s.

Here is my new progress. I have lost my mind over this ropes and sails, but it came out great. I am so close to the finish line, just a few more details and it will be finished. It was a great experience to work on this project and I can wait to finish it and start a new one. I haven’t found it yet but I hope to find something good. If you have any ideas for my next project I will be happy and pleased with your help. Now you have a look and I will be happy to read your comments and critique about my work.

Have a great day and I will talk to you soon.

Nice job!

That struck me as extremely odd as well. These look like building ways so I doubt there would be armament or masts, let alone sails. No matter, the model is truly lovely. :)

I know that it should be folded and now when it’s almost done I am sorry that I didn’t do that like it should be. But now is what it is. I am happy for your comment and I will do better next time. Thank you.
