fishing sloop build

Rob,

I really like the way you framed these images, really like I’m walking around on the wharf. And your craftsmanship is excellent.

Thanks, sorry for the late reaction. Due to the summertime I spend time for going out on sea with my boat, fishing seabass and I picked up motorcycling again. Missed that for years and always had the intention to buy a bike again.p

Working with oak is very satisfying. It is easy to colour in the same as a real ship.

The past week I had plenty of time so I picked up building again. I placed the Wales of the ship. I gave them a small chamfer. In real it are two strokes of oak. In this way the two strokes are clear to see. In real the wales are appr 80 mm thick. As I build on a scale 1:20 I have made them appr 4 mm.

Have a Nice day!

Nice work, Rob. She is showing her gracious lines more and more.
Nice pictures with the different lights.
