Francis Drake's galleon...Golden Hind...built from scratch

I am amazed at all the superb detail, craftsmanship, and thought that you placed into building a wonderful model. I am in the process of building a Galleon from scratch and will take several of your ideas and try to encompass them into my build. I have nowhere near your skill level but can only hope my build will appear to be half as good as yours. You produced a fantastic work of art.

Hello! Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you liked my model!

Does anybody on this thread have any clues as to the origins of this sad wreck of a Golden Hind bought at a local auction for around $25 US? It's very large (maybe 1/30 - see scale rule ) and appears very well built in the fashion of the Nineteen Sixties or before. Is it a scratch or is it a kit? - If so, which one?

Oh no! These Spaniard also knew how to use their cannon! So unfair! Aeropiccola had a quite big Golden Hind looking very much like this one (minus the battle damage, of course).
