Beginning the Fore mast and the first yard...the lower topsail yard and sail.

I realized I had made a grave error in the location of Glory's forecastle height....instead of leaving the error, because so much work had gone into it....I decided to remodel it. first by removing all the existing hardware and furniture.

Once everything was removed, I drew out and cut out for the addition of the forecastle supply cabins....and added and furred in the new deck beams.

Then I added the paneled walls to each cabin.

Added the decking. During this remodel I opted to replace all the iron bitts with what was more standard on Yankee clippers...large wooden bitts.

Begin to add other mods and deck gear/furniture.

Lastly, I added a new rail, that mimicked the original more closely and I added the bell as well.
Just have to Butten up a few more mods on the port cathead and glue a few things down and this correction will be finished.
She not replicates the forecastle of the Glory of the Seas more accurately...and I can now sleep at night.
Ladders will be added next to complete the remodel

That is a great rebuild, the difference is remarkable. Nicely done.

Finished up the details for the cat head and anchor release mech.

Added the fore stay stanchion points and some starboard anchor purchase details. And an overall view from the bow and an overhead profile of my current stage..

Beginning again on the fore yards....just finished up the upper topsail yard and sail.

Now onto the fore royal....blocks added...awaiting the furled sail and buntline blocks.
